Quebec Trip

Quebec Trip for French Students

As a French student, students have an opportunity to travel to Quebec during their 10th grade year. They will be able to practice what they have been learning in class and can use it while communicating with native speakers. Students travel to Quebec for a 4 day experience learning more about the Quebecois culture as well as practicing their French skills.

Students will experience:

  • Hockey game watching the Remparts
  • Meals at different Quebecois restaurants
  • Snowshoeing and dogsledding
  • Visit an atelier (woodworker's woodshop)
  • Visit Montmorency Falls
  • Visit Basilica of Saint-Anne-de- Beaupré
  • Go to Valcartier for snowtubing
  • Visit the Ice Hotel at Volcartier
  • Explore Quebec City for shopping and a tour with a tour guide

Fundraising Opportunities

Beginning in 7th grade, students will have the opportunity to start fundraising for their future Quebec Trip. Students fundraise for their individual accounts, it is not mandatory, but it is encouraged.

If students fundraise and decide in 10th grade that they do not want to attend the Quebec Trip, they may use their funds for any Iroquois Field Trip.

Please reach out if you have any questions about the Quebec Trip! It is a wonderful time for students to use the language that they are learning and experience the culture of Quebec.
