Economics Course Information

Mr. Halter’s Economics

Course Introduction, Rules, and Procedures

Economics is a twenty week social studies course that is required for graduation.  The study of economics, perhaps more that any other social science, will have a significant impact on the lives of students.  From personal income and property taxes to automobile loans and retirement investments, economic decision making is something that faces each and every one of us.  The goal of this course is for you to become better educated in the world of economics and use it as a launch pad for better economic decision making in your future.  Poor economic decisions can take many years to overcome.  Each and every year, more and more young Americans put themselves into debt by making poor financial decisions.
