When conducting research, it is important to verify that the information you are finding is accurate. Using a variety of books, databases, and websites can reduce the effects of bias (the author's personal perspective and beliefs) and provides a greater understanding of the topic. 

 

Databases

Digital Literacy - search for "artificial intelligence". Read the main topic page and use the tabs on the left hand side to learn more.

Gale In Context Elementary - search for information in newspapers and magazines. Try different key word searches to find info on your specific topic.

Google Search Tips

- search for "artificial intelligence in _______" (for example: artificial intelligence in fashion)

- NEVER type questions into Google!!!

- Look for wesites with .org, .gov, .edu when possible

- REMEMBER!! Google is not a "source", it is a search engine that connects you to information. You must always click on a link and decide if the website is a credible/trustworthy source before you take notes for research.
