Library Philosophy
The Middle School Library supports our community of learners and staff members by allowing intellectual access to information in a variety of formats with diverse ideas and viewpoints.
The library, under the direction of a teacher librarian, provides instruction to foster competence and stimulate interest in reading, viewing, and using information and ideas.

The Goals of the Library:
- Provide intellectual and physical access to materials in a variety of formats.
- Improve the fluency and stamina of student reading through exposure to both fiction and informational texts for success in and beyond the classroom.
- Promote student use of textual evidence in writing responses.
- Work with educators to design learning strategies to meet the needs of individual students.
